FEATURED PROJECTS
Liège Paradis
This project for the construction of a 35,000 m2 mixed-use project in Liège on the plot located between Guillemins railway station and the Finance Tower was drawn up in response to a tender launched by FEDIMMO with the cooperation of the city of Liège and the Walloon Region. The development includes 206 residential units, 15,000 m2 of office space and 1,500 m2 of local shops. The inner courtyard provides a semi-urban living space, containing private gardens, urban farm, a walkway and a small public square connected to the esplanade.
Between city and nature, between work and habitat, this mixed project functions as a city on its own.
Following the principles of the « global city » and the « city of tomorrow », both housing and SME spaces are designed as to offer maximum exibility and adaptability. Beyond the intrinsic qualities behind the integration of collective spaces, the project proposes different building typologies - a tower and two pairs of urban blocks - with an architecture and functioning going far beyond the traditional juxtaposition of functions.
Novacity
Oude Dokken
The City of Ghent is considering converting its three oldest docks into a whole new quarter along the waterfront, where the accent will be on housing with an integration of spaces for retail, offices, recreation and public services. The project engages in a dialogue with both the historic city centre and the docks. The project proposes a different manner of living by proposing a stacking of a large set of housing types, from studios and apartments to individual houses.
